As far as music is concerned I believe if it's free to listen on the radio then the rules should apply here as well (if not ... then shouldn't we outlaw all the devices to make those copies like blank cassettes and video tapes).
In conclusion there is no effort here to profit from someone elses work on my part... so I do not believe that any material not mine that I have here is ("in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement"). If you like my work then please consider following these same rules.
***In conclusion I would like to add that if we adher strictly to the law,
(as I have read it) then it seems no one could every read anything I have
ever written to another without paying royalties (or until I've been dead
75 years). No one could ever sing a song to another person without
paying royalties (even if you're only singing to the one you love). If that is
the case then take my TV and trash it, stick all my CD's somewhere
where the sun don't shine (right next to the radio's and CD players), and
let the authorites remove every copying device from my house. Then I'll
slowly depart from my house to the thunder of "Heil Hitler"!!! As for
me...well... as long as you give me credit in what you post and you
are not trying to make a profit from something I wrote, and you don't
modify the words you certainly are free to use it***
